There will be an intrasquad scrimmage this Wed night at 7pm. It's open to the public for anyone that is close enough to attend.

With four spots open for next year that means the staff expects someone to leave. my guess is that would be a transfer and not someone going pro but they were planning to sign 5 if they could get Jones.

With Harper emerging and Mitchell coming in, I would think New Williams might look elsewhere, maybe out west.

Brooks is and has been a take for Auburn for a few months now. It's an Auburn Carolina battle right now with AU leading. Georgia and Miss State are not factors at the moment. State could become a factor though if he becomes a take for them. as of now he is not though.

Seems to be fairly simple. If UNC wants him, they will sign him but if they look elsewhere, it'll be to our benefit and will wrap up our class.

Time for an OP update.. We're killing it on the trail. Also, in really, really good shape with KM, who would be the most highly regarded prospect we've ever signed in hoops.

It's not in the main arena but in the practice gym so it will be standing room only.

Khavon Moore - LINK - There is a lot of talk that he really likes us right now. Be weary as Calipari apparently is a huge fan of him.

Purifoy led the way in the scrimmage with 22 followed by Harper with 18. As a team we shot 27-32 from the ft line. Quote of the night was when Pearl stopped practice and made the team run sprints for not running hard enough up the floor. He said "if you wanted to jog up the court you should have signed with Alabama or Georgia". We're going to be fun to watch this year and if we can stay healthy and rebound we will win a lot of games.

"The way we went best on best, both games came down to a last-second shot, which tells me there's not a tremendous separation," Pearl said. "It was good from that standpoint. We're not very big and you could see that, but we're fast, we're athletic, we shoot it pretty well, we're deep and I'm hoping that our style of play will bother opponents. But we've got to gang tackle, we've got to gang rebound. If we can shore some of that up, I think we're off to a pretty good start."
