We'll cover that on next week's edition

Any update on the "big surprise" we were supposed to get? Or just news in general? Don't care how boring
Only thing I've heard that hasn't been mentioned is that Lang apparently has finally taken the weight room seriously and put on some muscle.
ETA: That came from my wife's cousin's best friend's baby sitter. She's blowing someone in the AD just in case anyone was questioning it's legitimacy.

Source verified. Asked my friend that would not lie to me that's around when the baby sitter is blowing the guy in the AD.

Austin Wiley is 1-6 at the free throw line in this Fiba semifinal game. He'll fit in well.

Rivals has a Anfernee McLemore article on phone but
-Pearl says he is exceeding expectations
-Heron said best motor on the team
-Adler wants him working on his jump shot
-Up 20ish pound to 213

When does the schedule get released?
Also, approximately what would we have to do to make the tournament? We should play a solid schedule and the SEC seems to be improved, is our number around 22+?
Of note, we should have a pretty difficult SEC slate. The rivalry double opponents are UGA/OM/Bama which should be solid and our potential double meeting opponents should be LSU/UK/USCe/MSU/Arkansas

So far we have @UCONN, Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Connecticut vs Oklahoma, 2 games in the Cancun challenge vs Texas Tech then Purdue/Utah State, Madison Square Garden vs Boston College, @UAB, SEC/Big 10 challenge @TCU with home games against Coastal Carolina, Georgia State and Eastern Kentucky. My best guess is we finish it out with 2 more mid majors at home.
On the subject of schedules get a look at Miss St's. They should be ashamed.
N11 Friday Norfolk State
N17 Thursday Charleston Classic
N18 Friday Charleston Classic
N20 Sunday Charleston Classic
N25 Friday Lehigh
N28 Monday Northwestern State
D1 Thursday Oregon State
D4 Sunday Georgia State
D14 Wednesday ETSU
D19 Monday Southern Mississippi. in Jackson
D22 Thursday Morehead State
D29 Thursday University Missouri Kansas City

Going the USCe route I see
Posted on 7/6/16 at 11:13 am to AA7
At least USCe had Clemson/St Johns/Memphis on their schedule that were expected to be decent teams. Wasn't a gauntlet but USCe got shafted that all 3 tanked
MSU is making it clear they don't have any intention to play quality opponents outside the Charleston Classic

Basically they're following in the footsteps of their football scheduling

Yep but that doesn't work in college basketball. I don't understand why you go that route especially after what happened to USCe last year, unless their goal is to shoot for the NIT every year.

Howland wants to turn MSU into a winner and build momentum for the program. I doubt he does this scheduling long term
Don't forget that MSU returns only 1 starter and only 2 players total with >10minutes per game. They are going to be unbelievably young and only FR playing in the post

I think they just can't find anyone who wants to do a home and home series in Starkville

Any word on how the following players are developing?
TJ Dunans - Knee recovery + has he improved his shooting?
Bryce Brown- Has he figured out consistency/ that he is actually solid at driving the hole?
TJ Lang - Is he still hobbled / has he figured out confidence + how to add weight?
Horace Spencer- Does he still shoot lasers for hook shots/FTs?
