I'm borderline posibarnerish right now. Wonder where everyone else is at this point.

Posibarner because:
1. people have such low expectations we're bound to sneak up on a couple of teams.
2. the most talent on the D line since TT's days
3. a lot of potential with the WR corps
4. our RBs including a huge north/south bruiser the likes we haven't seen from AU in several years
5. being negative sucks and all the folks who incessantly bitch get old real fast.

With QB play so important in our offense and the lack of a QB superstar, and the headscratching-play calling of last year, I'm firmly in the 15-0 camp.

I disagree. I think the JJ train wreck not only affected the fans perception of the team, but also the coaches. My only "inside" source is a friend's father who lives in Auburn. He was talking to I think Heath Evans, and Evans said the coaches were dumbfounded by JJ's performance -- had no idea what happened. Throw Sean White into the fire with inconsistent WR play, a limited playbook and then an injury, and of course we had shitty QB play last season.
At least this year the coaches have a better idea of our QBs' capabilities. While the talent hasn't magically improved, the coaches understand what they have this season and can game plan around it.

I'm usually a sarcastic posibarner but my head tells me we are going to really struggle this year so mild negabarner at present. Too many square pegs trying to get to work in round holes for this team.

Negatiger...can't wait for basketball season already.

I know we are going to suck this year( kudos to Jay G Tate), but I'm a football fan, and as a football fan, it's not possible for me to not feel excited about the season coming up. So I'm posibarner for now. Get back to me after the Clempson game.
