I only ask this bc there has been some damn good frosh qb play this week...

And then there is us.

Year after year after year unless there is a star transfer no standout QB

The last non -transfer qb to do 'anything' was Campbell... Over a decade ago.

One time last night Sean White was talking shite to Gus or Rhett one after one of out stupid bubble screen plays he looked to the sidelines yelling and giving an arm motion like he was saying "let's throw it down field"

My op stands.

Cox was the closest thing to a successful 'homegrown' qb we've had since... The guy right before him.
Trotter though? C'mon man...

Again, why have NONE of our primary recruited QBs amounted to jack squat in over a decade?!

I don't think they are being coached out of their talent. It sure looks like they haven't received a bit of coaching since stepping on campus.

THANK YOU LASHLEE

We are severely lacking in the OC/QB Coaching position.

It's telling when you think about Lashlee and his lack of any real merit in coaching. If we fired him, the best I could see him him do is going back to be an OC at a small school like Samford. I don't even think an above average program would hire him to be a QB coach, yet here it at Auburn filling the OC role. It's laughable really.

I believe they would have to receive coaching in order to be "coached out" of anything.

Not true. As a qb when you're told where to throw it pre-snap. Thats being coached out of your talent. Someone posted a clip of a slip screen we ran to KJ. We had the TE streaking down the middle wide open. He was basically a decoy because he never wturned around for the ball. It wouldn't of mattered anyway because the DE was unblocked by design . the De was on SW before he could finish his drop back so he quickly dumped it off to KJ .

Those plays make me furious. Go back and watch some games last year. Watch how many times our receiver flew off the LOS then stopped and watched Ricardo to see if he would haul in the pass before it ever left the QBs hand
