Though replays showed Coker was hit while still in bounds, the personal foul was a bad but maybe understandable call. Officials don’t have the luxury of slow motion. Muschamp questioned why a clear hold – or should I say tackle - of Carl Lawson, in the open for everybody to see, wasn’t called. And that got him a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct.

PM

From inside of the stadium, this took away our chance to win.

Someone on ITAT already made a video with Rod and Stan's radio commentary dubbed over.

Yea that call in itself wasn't awful, though it was weak in that game in that situation.

It was the non call on Lawson and the ridiculous flag on Muschamp that make me sick. Again Saban charged an official earlier in the game, no flag. Muschamp yells at official, 15 yards on top of 15 yards after an unacceptable missed hold.

Also when that official got hurt, Saban was the first one over there to pat him on the back. You think Saban doesn't plan those sorts of things out? He is a sly devil.

That did grind my gears.

Please don't tell me that you think Saban planned the official busting his arse on the sideline?

Not a single holding penalty called on either team all game. That screams "just let them play". Problem is it neutralized our best player on defense

No. Not saying that. I'm saying he doesn't let a crisis go to waste. I will give him credit for being "smarter" than most other coaches in this regard. He knows how to be a kiss arse to the refs when he needs to. This allows him to yell at them the rest of the time without drawing flags.

This year has definitely seemed worse than most with regard to holding no calls. To happens to everybody, but we've had some really blatant ones this year, worse than I've ever seen

The SEC front office could not afford to let Alabama lose if the game was close. UA is their only hope to get a team in the playoff.

Y'all remember the beginning of the season Under Armour bragging about the new jerseys were resistant to holds. Yeah those were good times.

I had to listen to the game on the radio, and while I realize that it was horrible missed call, what was just as annoying was Rod and Stan's constant whining about it. They wouldn't let it go and kept going back to it. It made it very difficult to listen to. They had no sense of professionalism about it. Does anyone else find the way they do that incredibly annoying?

It was a very frustrating sequence that really took away any chance we still had, I don't blame them in this case.

If I was an elite defender, I'd want to play defense for Muschamp. He will stick his neck out for any of his players and he is just generally a very passionate guy.

Agreed. It's a little embarrassing. Wish I hadn't listened to that video posted earlier

Yea, those jerseys just mean the refs can't see your jersey getting pulled, thus no call ??

Tom Ritter and crew continue the tradition of incompetence inherited from Penn wagers and Jimmy Harper before him. Always one incompetent crew in the sec
