Anyone at the game or get on/near the field?

I keep reading about a wet field.

That field looked dry as hell and in fact it didn't look all that lush. I saw a lot of areas where I could see the dirt.

The ref slipped on a tarp.

I saw others losing footing but never saw water spray from them or other tackles.

Anyone there can offer any insight? Just wanting to scratch my curiosity.

Bama fans are just rolling with it to explain why the game was so close. I didn't see anything that indicated we flooded the field. Plus that would hinder our style of play much more than theirs. But that's just me being all logical and ish.

Really close friends works event management and was on the field before and after the game. He said that's the driest field he's seen and it's like we forgot to water it. It looked bad in certain areas

Henry had a footing issue all game thanks to that turf though

Well I agree. It is a dumb logic to flood a field..

Bad footing yes, wet field I don't believe it. And yes Bama fans are always looking for an angle to explain something away.

That's what I saw was a dry arse field. I don't remember our grass ever looking that bad even this late in the season.

I'd love for someone to make a gif of the closeup they had of Henry when he slipped. Dry dirt went flying like it was turf.

Yeah that is what I saw. I think they were sliding because it was hard soil.

Outside of Henry though was anyone really slipping? It seemed he was the only one that was struggling

Also random tangent, if the slow arse ref can't fricking stop on the sideline then how does he expect a 4.6 guy running full speed.....

Auburn has one of the best draining fields in college football...remember that rain we had when WVU came in? The field was ready to play less than an hour after the rain stopped...
