She seems to pay more attention to athletics at UH than what Gogue currently does at AU.

These searches take a long time, there will be at least two sets of interviews, there is a search firm. They would like to have someone in by June.
The search for Auburn University's 19th president is underway. A 14-member committee headed by Auburn Trustee Raymond J. Harbert is leading the search.
In September 2016 Auburn President Jay Gogue recommended that members of the university's Board of Trustees begin the search for his replacement. Dr. Gogue will remain as president until his successor is named, expected sometime in 2017.
While applications and nominations will be accepted until a new President is selected, interested parties are encouraged
to submit their materials to our consultant at the address below by December 1 to assure optimal consideration.
Application materials should include a current resumé and letter of interest.
