I don't think we're the angriest. That award has to go to UT, and rightfully so. -7 total yards of offense until the last drive vs. USCe. Unfrickingbelievable.

When you are feeling down about Gus's autism, you can always look to Butch Jones and think to yourself "It could be worse."

Has the sec fallen or what?

I used to think what would kill football was kids not signing up, evidently, it might fall because of a lack of coaches.

Not by much.

Auburn under Gus: 40-20
Tennessee under Butch: 33-24

Main thing I got from that article is that the #1 choice in many Auburn fans’ coaching search list gave up 45 points in a loss to Boston College.

It just blows my mind how rich we've all made these people. A bunch of former PE teachers who were in the right place at the right time. A few of these folks are genuinely great at what they do....I'd say most others hit life's lottery.

Kodi Burns is a good guy I'm sure, and he's not necessarily the target of my angst, but he's an undeveloped QB, converted to WR...now making 350,000 per year.

This year is essentially the same as 2016 was for Butch, other than we actually have a good team in our division and they didn't.

Everything was in place last year for UTee to have a breakthrough season, and Butch couldn't deliver, even after the miracle finish against UGa.

Everything was in place for us this year to at least win 10 games and end up in a NY6 bowl. Rise to the challenge against Clemson and we were looking at an epic Iron Bowl showdown. Now we are on the verge of a 2008-style collapse.

Thanks Gustav.

Many Auburn fans are completely clueless. Fortunately they don't have a say in choosing our HCs. Unfortunately, the people who do have a say aren't much better.

I've never understood the weird au facination with him. He may be one of the worst qb's I've ever seen, and given our recent history at the position that's saying something. He was a below average wr also. Now he coaches wr's and for the most part they look as underwhelming as he did playing the position. But I guess at AU as long as you're willing to play ball and not rock the boat, there's a great chance you can get a nice cushy job there, where you can't be criticized because you're a good auburn man

I don't know, I think it's us. UT fans know they suck and have for a while. They also know a change is going to happen.

We should be good, we have the potential to be good, and we show it in flashes and then we stop doing all the things that were making us good. That's infuriating.

They're like Tennessee fans. Teams with past glory.
