that's quite a bit different, I doubt you'd be a fan of both Tech and uga would you?

And to the OP, going to bama doesn't automatically force you to pull for them. You can go there and get a good education and still pull for Auburn. That doesn't mean you have to overcompensate and wear AU gear all the time, but simply attending class at a university doesn't mean you HAVE to pull for them.

Enjoy your undergrad experience. Anyone telling you to not go there and take Bama's free money is dumb. Do well in school, get job, make tons of money, then start contributing to Auburn football and Auburn Bagman Fund.

Hey, that's what I'm majoring here at Auburn. It's a great major with what seems to be plenty of job opportunities basically anywhere. Good luck!

Nailed it.

Except that he's more likely to come out wearing Crimson and purchasing a lifetime membership to the Red Elephant Club.

Figure out which of your cousins is the best looking. Then, don't look back. Embrace the Gump.

frick, man. Have some pride in yourself and education and go to Auburn or another school. Alabama is fine for law school and MBA, but the their undergraduate degree?......you are the one that is going to have to look at yourself in the mirror everyday for the rest of your life

Go to Bama. Take that free money. Stay an Auburn fan, but don't miss out on the fun of being part of an SEC football student section. Cheer like cray for Bama while you're at those games.

Part of why I ended up at Auburn was to avoid going to Tennessee. I absolutely love Auburn. The memories I made there and friends I made will probably stick with me all of my life. So will the difference in tuition between in-state at UT and out-of-state at AU. Of course, my situation isn't the same, but you can have a lot more fun without the stress of student loans hanging over you.

Honestly, if I could go back, I'd probably have had to actually learn to sing Rocky Top without gagging or laughing at how shitty it is. I would still be a die-hard Vandy fan, but my Vol hatred wouldn't be quite so intense. That's the best route to go.
