Yeah thank God we didn't waste time on any other Bama legacies. Who needs the best kicker in the country anyway?

So has bama already turned this other kid away too? If so then have at it. We still aren't getting a bama legacy from California. DWI

Bama didn't turn Carlson away, they still wanted him.

If we hadn't offered Carlson as early as we did then he still would've walked on there over taking scholarships to other places

Alabama had their junior day yesterday some AU targets that made it

4* WR Justyn Ross
4* WR Jacob Copeland --> was a surprise visitor
4* DT Coynis Miller
4* DE Brenton Cox
3* DE Andres Fox
3* CB Chris Smith
3* LB Michael Harris --> visited AU earlier in the week
3* DE Jamarcus Chatman
3* OT Jerome Carvin --> AU offered earlier this week as well
3* DT Tobe Umerah --> earned Bama offer
3* DT Darnell Jefferies --> Bama offered, we offered earlier this week when he visited
3* OT Kameron Stutts
2019 OT Pierce Quick --> got Bama offer, we offered last weekend, he's a huge bama fan

Most notably for us 4* CB Jalyn Armour-Davis did not make it. Also chose to visit AU over Bama for the last junior day so feeling pretty good about him right now. Did not see if 4* WR Seth Williams made the trip either but he was suspected to be there. Curious to see which of these guys make the trip to AU next weekend

Also looks like a lot of these unrated guys have been scouted. Will update OP with new ratings either tomorrow or Tuesday but here's a quick look at some top target changes

LB Michael Harris --> high 3* (247 has him as a solid 4* but Rivals gave him low 3* rating)
OG Ed Montilus --> solid 3*
LB Channing Tindall --> 3*
DE Malik Langham --> 3*

Also looks like Harold Joiner fell to a 3* in the composite because Scout rates him a 3* now

2019 QB visits AU, acquaints himself with new OC (Rivals)
quote:

“Coach Lindsey is a great guy and a great coach,” Nix said. “He’s fun to be around. He has great wisdom for the game and I think Auburn gained a really good offensive coordinator. I think his offense fits me well. I’m looking forward to seeing how it looks next season.”

There are a lot of offenses that would showcase Nix’s skill set. Although only a sophomore, he’s 6-foot-2 and weighs 190 pounds. He’s an efficient passer, as well as a threat to run the ball. Nix scored 37 touchdowns and combined for more than 3,000 total yards last fall for Scottsboro.

Nix has early offers from several Power 5 programs, including Auburn, Florida State, Ohio State, Oklahoma State and Kentucky. He’s also receiving heavy interest from Clemson and Florida, among others.

Nix isn’t in a rush to make his college decision. He still has two years to consider his options. But Nix does have four schools presently standing out above the rest.

“Auburn, Clemson, Florida State and Ohio State seem to contact me more,” Nix said. “A lot of others have contacted me and talked to me, but those are the main four. I’m going to keep looking at my options, praying over my decision and seeing where I need to go to college."

Nix’s father’s college decision will have little impact on his own.

“Dad playing at Auburn is pretty special, but at the end of the day it is my decision,” Nix said. “It comes down to what I want to do. My parents are not forcing me one way or the other. I will go where I think I fit the best and to the school that wants me the most.”

Nix would have plenty of reasons to choose the Tigers.

“The coaches are incredible,” Nix said. “They are different from most. They don’t cuss at you. I like that, and I also like Auburn’s traditions. It’s just a great place. I really like it.”

Picked wrong game. Baseball blew em out and softball lost 1-0. Dameyune Craig would have never made that mistake, right guys?

Two or three 3 star recruits are not bad for one class. A solid majority of 'em is. Thanks for steering me to a hijack.

Steering you towards a hijack with a comment that's said about every 3 star ever brought up in a recruiting thread?

Yeah, douchebag. He made a satirical comment and I followed back with one.
He has played football for only 8 months. Only being a three star is expected.

Any more questions?
