Wait now we have to pretend to care about softball and baseball in one thread?
Softball tickets were standing room only today with games against 2 mid majors so what does that tell you? Between that and Thompson getting his first true full year there's plenty of excitement whether you choose to acknowledge it or not

Martin threw a gem against Creighton in the night cap. Struck out a career high 10 in a 9-0 run rule win.
Really enjoyed watching them play Evansville. Our freshman have a lot of room for growth which is thrilling considering they're showing a ton of potential

Our pitching has been dominant early. If bats get more consistent we are gonna be hard to handle this year
As for baseball I am worried about our bullpen. First chance to earn a save and we gave up 5 runs.... Still saw some good things and team should be better this year

If you are going to start a post at least keep it up to date with scores and record

Softball is just fun to watch. The speed of the game is just really entertaining. More specifically, there are a lot of really quick girls and 60 feet between bases makes it really tough to get infield outs on someone that's fast. Double plays are even more difficult to pull off, and the girls are just aggressive which leads to things like throwing errors and extra bases due to the aggression. I've just really started to enjoy it over the last few years.

Baseball team takes series vs GW with 4-3 win. Luke Jarvis hit clutch bases loaded, 2 out, 3 RBI double

Cole Lipscomb picked up a 4 inning save in the first game of the double header. Right now we are 2/3 in save opportunities.

Can you do anything but bitch, Luke? I was in Auburn all weekend crashing on a couch so I could actually be at the games.

Ya I think I was too focused on blown save and forgot about Lipscomb. The other opportunity didn't happen till after my post
It was good to see guys battle back and win that last game. Some clutch hitting

Yeah it was good to have some adversity early in the year especially when you have 22 new faces on the team. It was disappointing for Sprinkle to blow the save Saturday but you can't win them all.
As a side note George Washington has stuck out the least amount of times over the past 4 years.

Just noticed where Maryland beat Florida over the weekend. Should bump us up to #1 when the new polls come out tomorrow.

It's like a broken record at this point. If I ever start a season thread, I'll put a solid schedule up and that's it. There will be no updating and I will not give af if it offends your fragile feelings. Dealing with you crybabies on every pinned season thread is retarded. If you crybabies want a thread done one way or another, do it yourself. It's that fricking simple.

A link to the results/stats would be a nice addition
People who are too busy to click a link can't complain about OP laziness

A link is fair game. Still, at this point, I'm thinking less is more for these self-entitled crybabies, so I wouldn't do anything else for them.

We could be 1, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Florida State claim the top spot in the polls since they are undefeated. Our loss to Washington wasn't bad, but we have squeaked by in some games.

There was that one time you melted down because 2018 info was in 2017. That's all I was thinking of
FWIW I 100% agree with your post in this thread. I think people lose their shite a little too easily over some stuff especially when you consider people are doing this on their spare time for free. It really isn't that hard to google most of the things people bitch about

That's apples and oranges.
And despite "the way y'all have always done it," grouping two classes into a thread designed for one class will never make sense. Even if nobody cared about 2018 yet.
