This baseball team is very impressive. To win that series without Mize... I never would have thought we could have done it.

Not me. I had us around 13 conference wins coming into SEC play. Now I'll be upset with anything less than 18.

The bats showed up at the right time. If we get mize back at 100% and the bats stay alive, this team could make a run.

Why? Dude was very highly thought of. Was super stoked when we went with him so fast after canning Golloway. I didn't think we would be down long but didn't think we would be this successful in year 2.

Never been a HC before AU and he inherited a really cruddy situation.
I thought he'd be a solid coach long term, just har dto say he would be better than that. Impossible to predict he'd have this type of season this fast
Safe to say that he seems to have a pretty high floor, but we will have to wait until Mize/Thompson leave to really know our ceiling. We are riding those two right now and we can't bank on having two aces like that consistently
