Tre Williams looked good against MSU, Darrell Williams supposedly looks great for a FR

For Sam/Nickel we have a ton of options but Tim Irvin looks great at Nickel

it wouldn't surprise me at all if we took a JUCO linebacker and up to 3 JUCO linemen this year. We are in a depth hole and need to get guys that can play quick to be a competitive defense next year.

We are striking out with the HS kids we want, so we are going after JUCO kids.

ETA So I have been told by a guy who would know such things.

Are we not in that hole because we take JUCOs and did not develop HS players?

Sssshhhhhhhhhh.

We're boned. Coaches obviously scared shitless that they can't fix the problem, therefore now praying that JUCO's can come in and play right away.

To fix the problem with our position coaches not being able to develop players (and to avoid firing those coaches) sources say Jay Jacobs is entering into negotiations with various prestigious Junior College coaching staffs with the goal of ensuring the very best JUCO kids who have fundamentals developed elsewhere are funneled to AU.

all of our latest JUCOs have been stars. Lawrence, Kenny Flowers, Brandon King, Moncrief, Swain, Danzey, Turner the list goes on and on.

I love going JUCO

I'm just thankful this is all happening as my oldest is about to be old enough to start playing sports on Saturdays in the next year or two.

The problem with taking Juco guys is they should be supplemental players to come in ready and you still take some young talent to develop to replace them. We have been taking JUCO guys and not taking high school kids with it.

Eventually, you have to get young kids and develop them to be successful and we have done a poor job of that. I think Muschamp will get the defense straightened out but I am worried about the offense if Gus thinks opening up the quarterback race again is a good idea.

He's Julio level WR talent. One of the best I've ever seen in high school and he's a sophomore.
