Randy's concerns about this class are legit. Most people in here just don't want to hear it. He might push the issue a little too much but it's not near as bad as most make it out to be in here.

ETA: well his concerns are legit. I think calling it a disaster is a touch dramatic though

Yeah people overplay Randy's negativity. Plus, you know it's coming. If it's that big of a deal skip over his posts.

Per KN, Holyfield is already a silent commit to his school of choice. He links to a Dawg Nation article.

Maybe, but if we don't get Jackson or Gary it's pretty much a disaster. We can't miss out on all the DTs two years in a row.

If we do well and Muschamp stays during the coaching carousel I think D recruiting improves.

Our O recruiting is weird since it is hard to know if we like guys better for our niche system or if we struck out

No worries, Garner was too busy coaching to build relationship in this class. Next year is our year.

I must have got into the way back machine and visited AU recruiting threads in September 2014 since I read the same thing about this class then.

The worst part is our DL play was terrible last year.

I said this about a month ago and got tarred and feathered for it.

It has been a disaster for a while now.

Not even sure why either

I don't post anything negative. I post things how they are. Our recruiting right now is a disaster.

We're in the top 25 and the biggest fish we'll likely land haven't even jumped on board yet. And Auburn ALWAYS closes well. You can pretty much set your clock to it, with few exceptions.

I agree that somehow or another we have to sign 1 or 2 DTs that can contribute by the end of their frosh year. We need some young guys for depth in '16 who are future starters.

I think next year is shaping up to be much, much, much better. Really hope we take Bentley too.

I had a lot of faith that we would get on track before the season but that hasn't happened yet. I still won't panic until November but I'm biting my nails finally. I like the guys we are bringing in but they aren't doing much for recruiting rankings We're piling up the whiffs.

Next year is starting strong and we're still in the mix for a lot of great talent. I like Bentley more than Narcisse and it would be a shame if we stop recruiting him after Narcisse's commitment.

Stand strong in the face of adversity brother. Knowledge is a blessing and not a curse. Eventually others come around, it just takes some longer than others.

Greg Little will visit Auburn sometime in September (don't have a membership so don't know what date).
