Read an article that stated we have started 22 different players on defense and 21 different players on offense this year.

So does that transition to some experienced depth next year? Or are half of them leaving next year?

Jesus, that's a lot. You would hope that would mean experienced depth, but who knows.

I think depends on who leaves for NFL but overall we should return a bunch of guys next season. From top of my head here is who we return of guys that have started and what year they will be. Not including guys that have played but only those that have started, probably not 100% accurate

QB
SR Jeremy Johnson
rSO Sean White

RB
SR Jovon Robinson
JR Peyton Barber
JR Roc Thomas
SO Kerryon Johnson

WR
SR Marcus Davis
SR Tony Stevens

H-Back
rSO Kamryn Pettway
SO Chandler Cox

OL
rSR Shon Coleman (possible NFL)
rSR Avery Young (possible NFL)
rSR Robert Leff
rJR Alex Kozan
rJR Austin Golson
JR Braden Smith

DL
SR Montravious Adams (possible NFL)
SR Devaroe Lawrence
SR Maurice Swain
SR Gimel President
rJR Carl Lawson (possible NFL)
JR Rasheed Kennion
rSO Dontavious Russell
SO Byron Cowart

LB
SR JaVierre Mitchell
JR Tre Williams
SO Jeff Holland

CB
rSR Josh Holsey (possibly from medical RS)
SR Rudy Ford
rJR Tray Matthews
JR Nick Ruffin
JR Stephen Roberts
SO Carlton Davis
SO Jeremiah Dinson

I am sure I missed someone or got a year wrong but I think that hits the main guys that have actually started a game & will be back next season. In a perfect storm Adams, Lawson, Coleman & Young all come back but my bet right now is only Lawson comes back. Still that's a lot of guys that have been crucial to the team returning in 2016

That's a solid list minus the first 2

Ya the overall talent & experience will be there especially if we can get a few guys back that think about going pro. QB is the big one for sure next season. I am starting to think Franklin might end up the guy just so Gus can return to the read option offense. Before anyone jumps on me about he doesn't need duel threat QB, I know but looking at our QB recruiting moving forward the last 3 commits & our top 2018 guy are all duel threat QBs. That could just be a coincidence but I think Gus wants to move to having a more mobile QB again

I just saw Lowell Narcisse played last Friday after an early return from ACL injury. Maybe he will be in the mix too.

Not till 2017 tho. Woody Barrett will have a shot at it next season. I honestly have no idea what we do at QB next year but we will have 5 guys that will have a shot at it. If we can't find a competent kid from that bunch then it will be the end of Gus.

I really want Coleman & Young to return because we could bring back out whole starting line with Leff as the 6th guy. Group has gotten better as season went on & having a whole season playing together I think would be awesome for us especially opening the season with Clemson, LSU & A&M

My pants feel funny after seeing that list... but I'll contain any type of excitement and say we lose every game next year.
