However, we played much better as a team the first half against LSU. We couldn't hit many shots though. I would look for the team work to devolve and the shooting percentages to remain consistent.

Once our players get tired and start making mistakes, our team chemistry completely breaks down.

Tom Green indicates via Twitter that Purifoy may still be able to play this season. Also, Purifoy wouldn't redshirt if cleared because of his pro potential within 4 years.

Huh? In the LSU game he wouldnt shoot and at times couldnt shoot because he takes so long to get his shot off.
And he took his FIRST shot with under 20 seconds left in the game. Not going to help if you wait that long to shoot the ball.
I think he can shoot the 3 and done really well at times, but he has to know how to get to the open spots to get the ball from.
I just see him being too inconsistent enough to help us every game.
one note: not having a really good PG is one important reason for him not getting his shots.

To their credit, he, Brown and Horace have gotten a little better in the fouling department.

He's gotten a ton better with confidence at non 3s. He is solid at driving when he has a shot and aggressive.
I don't want him making things happen, but when he has a lane and cuts it makes me happy

Rumor going around that Canty won't play tomorrow night. I can't confirm it but these things usually turn out to be true. We might not break 40 if he doesn't play
