We have season tickets and have been 4-5 times, still figuring things out. Been pretty happy with the stadium and ecstatic with The Battery.

Stadium is great for watching a game, and there are several places that serve $5 beers although they are 12 oz.

That said, it is nearly impossible to get concessions after the game starts without missing less than 1 full inning. The concourse in the 300/400 level is terribly designed and should have been split up somehow.

Yea, we're in the 400 section down the 1B line. The concourse up there seems to be a bit tight considering it serves 2 full levels.

Only been once so far but really liked what I saw. Think it will be even better once they get the pedestrian bridges over 285 completed and all the consturction on the office buildings/apartments completed. The Battery is going to be unreal during a pennant race sometime down the line.

I'm still not a huge fan of the fact that if you removed all the Braves logos, it would feel like any other brand new ballpark in any other city in America but it has it's redeming qualities. Loved the monument garden in the concourse behind homeplate. I admit that I got a little misty-eyed walking through it; like walking through childhood.

Agree, monument garden was a real pleasant surprise. I've read a lot of national writers who say that's the best memorial area of any ballpark they've ever been to (that includes New Yankee Stadium).

Once the Battery is complete up and running and we are good again (maybe, hopefully, possibly) I can't even imagine how electric it will be. Time for a deep sleep for 2-3 years until Allard, Soroka, Weigel, Anderson, Minter, Acuna, Pache, Maitain, Albies, non-terrible Dansby are ready to roll.

Until then..........

I went to the first two games of the year. Was really impressed. Battery was awesome but a little crowded. However we normally have crowds half the size as that weekend and when we actually start selling out there should be more places open to spread people out.

Only complaint inside the park is the awful batters eye. Hopefully they tweak that soon

I assume you are talking about the trees? Batters have said they like the batters eye for its purpose.

Well the weekend I was there the trees looked like they hadn't seen water in a year and the waterfall was off the entire game. I guess players like bland but it looked shitty when the rest of the outfield looked really nice

Waterfall is only on inbetween innings to not distract the batters. Can't say anything about dry trees though

Batters don't care what prettiness is back there as long as they can pick up the ball easily which I guess they can in the current setup.

Hell I say throw some kudzu back there.

That shite would cover the outfield in a week.

That would be our "hill in center field" unique character.

I'm trying to plan a visit for the Mets in June (buddy is a mets fan) and him and his girlfriend are pretty broke so I'm thinking the only real way to bring a group is to buy GA tickets.

Have any of you experienced a game from up there? It looks like it's way the hell on up there and I'm worried about how tough it would be to watch the game. The next best/cheapest seats I seem to be able to find are for the outfield. Suggestions? I'm coming from Birmingham, so probably won't be able to make a lot of games and want my first one to be worth the visit and I'm not sure that will happen if the GA area is kinda shite.

I don't feel like looking up the schedule right now, but weeknight games can be attended very cheaply by going on stub hub. Tickets are as low as $6 most nights. I would look on there first before buying GA tickets. Even if you get GA, it's not too high up. Just get there a little early and sit on the first couple of rows.

Yea - we put our few extras on stubhub and haven't even been able to sell them for the cheapest price allowed by MLB/SH ($6 a game I think). There are plenty available.

Upper Deck seats from Home Plate to 1st/3rd in the bottom 5-7 rows are great seats and can be had to most games online for $10 or less.

week nights are pretty much out of the question, unfortunately, since me and everyone that would be going are coming in from Birmingham

Yea - I'd check StubHub and the Braves site for the 400 section and if nothing seems reasonable or together just get GA tickets.

Get there as early as you can and hit up the Battery. The entire stadium/Battery setup is a blast for groups coming to a game now.

I park in my office building lot across 285, but from what I've been told the lots on the East side of 285 are very easy to get out of (specifically 43/31 that aren't too far away).

I can't recommend the Red lot (the deck just outside of the outfield gate) enough. It's a general public lot, whereas the other lots in that immediate Battery area are for season ticket holders (I think). It's $18 but all of the lots are around that price. Or maybe it's $21, but same thing applies.

29 is the only lot you can tailgate in and they are pretty strict. i live right down the road though and just uber to every game ive been to. 6$ each way. i havent parked in the red lot yet during a game but have been to the battery a couple non game days and love that it is free up to 4 hours...or just go out at 3 hrs and drive back in
