I've lived in Colorado for a little while now. It's something I never even notice. All the pot shops look like trendy coffee cafe's and there's no liter involved.

Pisses me off for them to say they're decriminalizing pot...a $75 fine is not decriminalizing. It's offsetting what you pay to jail.

Like saying you're decriminalizing a DUI by fining instead of jailing.

i havent done any research, but guarantee you a pay a shite load more than that

i got an MIP when i was 20 and probably paid a couple grand and did a shite ton of community service to make sure it wasnt on my record. $75 is a walk in the park.

Absolutely you pay more...Im just saying this isn't "decriminalization". Decriminalizing is I can buy like I buy beer.

Weed smokers are responsible? WHAT! I thought they turned into fiends after one hit of that sweet sweet marijuana line.

No shite?

Nice.

Too bad I haven't lived in ATL in 14 years. This could be just the thing to convince me to move home.

From google:

Decriminalization or decriminalisation is the lessening of criminal penalties in relation to certain acts, perhaps retroactively, though perhaps regulated permits or fines might still apply (for contrast, see: legalization). The reverse process is criminalization.
