Love these unis. I hate the red helmet (looks too much like UGA and that token gold stripe to appease Tech back in the day is annoying) throwbacks, but the black/black/silver combo is sexy as hell.

I think most fans would agree these are better, and the existing unis are so outdated. Is there some sponsorship or NFL reasoning for not developing these into a primary uniform?

I mean, if they want to modernize them a touch, fine, it'd still be much better than the current uniforms.

Well that's a stupid rule but it's the NFL so I'm not surprised

I am in the minority in that I like the current uniforms, but I love the Deion-era uniforms. Blank is certainly partial to the modernized logo, as it was one of the first things he did when he bought the team, so I kinda doubt that they'll ever go back to the Deions full-time.

I believe the NFL has some ridiculous rule that says you have to give the league 18 months of notice before changing uniforms. If they were going to make a change, they would have done it to open MBS.

They actually would specifically not change the uniforms for 2017 because there is so much else to be excited about. New stadium, NFC Champions, etc. they would wait until 2018, 2019, etc. as something else to get fans excited.
