I like it, looks like left handed mashers will play well in STP, and he can play some outfield when Freddie makes it back.

Seems like a solid deal. Gave up very little for a serviceable replace until Freeman returns. I like it.

I'm pleased. This is about as good of a player as we could get without giving up something considerable.
My vision for the last 2 months assuming Freddie comes back on schedule is to have a bench consisting of power LH bat (adams), power RH bat (garcia), super utility (jace), 4th OF (?), and 2nd Catcher. With Rio has our starting 3B, I think that is a pretty formidable bench.

Solid pickup. Yepez is a longshot to make it to the bigs but I would have preferred to have traded pitching.
Adams looks like a NTC this offseason.
Cannot play the OF and obviously isn't playing 1B here if Freeman's healthy.
Maybe he gets super hot and we can flip him.

Yea, I didn't really understand it. We all know Adams isn't as good as his first month, but Yepez is literally a utility at best bat if he was a middle infielder, except he is a 1B, so his value is even lower. Seemed like a pretty strange move at the time and continues to look that way.
