which should be fairly routine, but she is 14 weeks pregnant. Also, I feel bad that I can't be there with her as I'm at home with the girls - no family lives within an eight hour drive. I'd appreciate your prayers if you are inclined. TIA.

Thanks again. I'll update, but that's another frustration not being there - I don't expect to hear anything until she wakes up to tell me herself.

Silver lining to the induced insomnia: house will be clean, homework will get done.

Update: dishes done, lunches made, still folding laundry. Sadly, that's all the update I can offer right now.
Thanks for the prayers, all.

Now I wasn't pregnant, being a dude and all, but I had mine out recently, they have it down to a science.
I'd imagine it's stressful as hell having a pregnant wife go through that, but it will go well. Thank goodness someone called it right early before it ruptured. That's a blessing in itself.

Update (:RobertStackUnsolvedMysteriesstyle:): The doc just called and said all went well. She'll be recovering in the OB ward for monitoring, so that's a comfort. Thanks again, everyone.

Thanks, Reedus. The wife's parents are headed this way (from SW Mo), too. They'll be an immense help with the girls.
