What would CBB have to do to be called "Bret"?

Yeah, yeah... kind of stupid, however.

At what point would you consider simply calling him Bret in stead of "Bert"?

How many wins, or who does he have to beat. Is it a weight thing? What would it take to call him by his real name rather than making fun of his name?
or are we all too grade school?

One of the following*:

Win 10 games
Beat Bama
Sign a top 15 class
Beat Aggie, LSU, and Auburn in the same year

*Must not have had a Toledo-esque or 50-point-loss embarrassment within the past calendar year.

To add on:

the replies are fantastic.

and all over the place.

From ... Resign, to winning 10 games, to beating just bama, to beating TAMU, AUB, and LSU in the same year, to recruiting...

Tough bunch.

I do not approve of this Transbert movement. He was born a Bert, he'll remain a Bert, and shite in a Bert bathroom.

If you are talking about on tRant, it will never stop. Might as well get used to it. Kind of like calling LSU fans Corndog.

Well he'd have to ern-ie his way to not be Bert anymore and I just don't know that he has it in him.

I just find it funny, but in a way disrespectful. I have a friend who met him recently and faux paus called him Bert...

He looked at him with a strong glare. Idiot.

Some of us are going to put him down regardless because some of us consider him a buffoon, others like him, others are blah either way.

Some above have specific ideas of how they feel about our coach and what would change their minds. Anywho, it is slow and no football yet

I like Bert and think he's great with the players, but I don't think he can win here. Let's see how his fifth season pans out, before we start anointing him "Bret"

Bert just sounds like a fat boy name. Bret is a skinny name. He needs to drop 150lbs and then win. 10+, beat Bama and Aggie, and stop embarrassing us fans with blowout losses, collapses, and losing to the Toledos on the schedule.

If Bert fricks away winnable games like he did last year. I'll start calling him Delbert, after my dumb arse uncle.

its not about what he does. It's more about what he would let us do with his wife

I think that it's only the Ranters that call him Bert. Just Google "Bert Bielema."

Those living in the real world already call him Bret.

Posted this while drunk.. Bert was nervous as I've ever seen him while speaking. Just thought it was odd.
