Thank god Brandon Allen is leaving.

Don't y'all return a lot of starters? Could this be the year y'all make an Atlanta run, depending on if your QB steps up?

You have a very favorable schedule.

And you know you're in the SECW when "favorable schedule" means getting to play Bama, LSU, Ole Miss, and UF at home and for nonconference you get to play @ TCU and LA Tech. "Favorable schedule" my arse.

I think it depends on who leaves early for the NFL. If everyone who could get drafted decides to leave, we're going to be missing a lot of key players. Most importantly, Alex Collins and Hunter Henry. Denver Kirkland would be another big loss--he's at LT now but he used to be a guard.

If everyone stays, then Brandon Allen is the only major loss that I can think of right now.

You get Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, and Florida at home.

That's an unbelievably favorable draw as it pertains to those four teams. Who are your conference road games? Mississippi State, Auburn, and Mizzou?

We get A&M in Dallas, and A&M is the "home" team. I know what you're saying, but any team from any other conference who would get that schedule, even with the hardest teams at home, would shite their pants.

The good news is we return basically everyone on defense. The bad news is that defense was the 2015 Arkansas Razorbacks defense. We'll know next year whether Robb Smith needs to be let go or not, because if the defense doesn't improve (which it should at least slightly by default, but we need it to improve a LOT), then we have enough loseable games to not even go bowling.

Oh, and Cole Hedlund owes the University of Arkansas exorbitant amounts of money. That guy has been Bernie Madoff levels of fraud. The kicker situation could cost us a game or two if it doesn't improve.

Thinking about what we return on defense reminds me of the old Lou Holtz line, something to the effect of "we return a lot of experience, but it's bad experience."

And don't forget Alcorn St. in non-conference.

Bingo. We could make a decent run at the West title, we could be in a dogfight for last place. If we start out slow next year... sooner or later we are going to have a year where we can't climb out of the early hole.

It all depends on if Robb Smith reminds the defense how to tackle and if Town/Allen/Storey/Peavey can hit our receivers and if Rawleigh comes back and if we get any good RB commits between now and February.

So yeah. Nobody knows.

Need to land some defensive talent that doesn't bounce in a year and a stud RB.

Somewhere between 5-7 and 14-0

Austin Allen/towns/storey could shite the bed, oline doesnt gel, whiff on recruing rbs, our rbs get injured with no back ups and defense regresses.

Or

Allen/towns/storey play lights out, get some rb recruit flips, oline gels fast, team 100% in early season, defense goes to November 2014 status.

It would be amazing to go through a season without several key skill position injuries.
