I wish I could get excited about LSU having to settle for O.
However, I can't really say anything to LSU fans since he went in dry on our coach a few weeks ago.

Yep. Also, they're going to get O for a reasonable price and no crazy large buyout. If O doesn't work, they'll be able to cut ties and look for a new coach before we can.

O's LSU team beat the pants off of us this year. Why should we feel happy about that?

I would laugh but what sucks is that he's not the worst coach in the West. Bret Bielema is.

I'm thrilled. If LSU had landed Jimbo or Petrino we'd have never won against them again.
Herman I'm not sold on...we'll see how he does at Texas.
Orgeron is Les Miles Lite. He'll recruit well, win some games big, then lose to Bama and drop a couple he shouldn't.
Very beatable coach in the Bayou and he has the potential to do to LSU what he did to Ole Miss and render them irrelevant for a few years.

Personally I'm a bit miffed about the timing. This was our designated morning to melt on the Rant and they stole our thunder by sticking themselves with Coach O.
They have the bowl season and all of the off season to have a "we hired who?" meltdown but instead they ruin our day of misery.

LSU just hired the worst coach in Ole Miss history and our current coach is worse than he is.
