They didn't win because of halftime adjustments. They won because they have more talent and depth.

We left 14 points on the field in the FIRST HALF.

Reed's fumble on the 50 - led to 7 A&M points(probably would have got 3/7 points on that drive)

Rawleigh's fumble on the 1 - led to 3 A&M points(Left 7 there)

Inability to score a TD(FG instead) - left 4 extra points on the field.

So uncharacteristic of this team to have those mistakes.

A&M had 14 damn points on two long QB draws. That CANNOT happen.

We could have won, but I still think A&M is the better team.

The score doesn't reflect how the game should have played out.

Frick our OL though.

i'm aware- in fact, i thought it was more than just 2 td's.

they just seemed like a different team in the 2nd half- rolling over us while we bent over and took it.

porcine- i'm just messing with ya, y'alls overreactions crack me up at times. (eta: excluding porker face who's nothing but a bitch)

I think if we would have tried to throw on the goal line rather than pound it, over and over, we would have had a chance to win. Instead we gave them momentum.

That crap was ridiculous. 3 goal line opportunities and 3 points is totally inexcusable.

I've seen this said quite a few times. I know Ellis is a punching bag for Hog fans, but it wasn't a mistake by him. That was his assignment. The mistake was in the scheme. If you want to blame a player, blame the safety who took a horrible angle

I'm not blaming Ellis for the loss, if in fact that's where he was supposed to be then it's on CRS.

That play didn't cost us the game, just venting frustration. As I posted before, I think we lost the game in the 2nd qtr.

You're correct. The 2nd Qtr very well should have ended with no less than a 14pt lead. Going into half tied really screwed us as they got the ball to start.

Personally I ALWAYS prefer to get the ball to start the 2nd half.

I do as well, especially when considering the offense we run. For what ever reason Bert seems to like getting the ball first but it might just be a being on the road deal. I believed he did it in the TCU game as well.

He tries to get a lead and keep it.

and fart it away in the 2nd half is what usually happens.

Our inability to take adantage of opportunities in the 2nd quarter hurt us badly. It should've been 21-7 or 24-7 at halftime, which would've made the second half a completely different ballgame.

The game was much more about our inability to put the game out of reach in the first half than their strong showing in the second half.

They won because we repeatedly shot ourselves in the foot and didn't capitalize in short yardage situations. We had the horses to run with them.

This.

Any talent disparity had little or nothing to do with it.

Our lack of talent on the OL certainly didn't make it any easier. OL and safety are pretty big weaknesses compared to what A&M is working with, IMO.
