Our 2015 class is going to bring depth but our 2016 class is loaded

He's really been an upgrade from Butler and I think being younger he has entergized both the team and coaches

2016 class is better than 2014 right now and that's saying something.

This team is hitting 160 basis points higher than the 09 team.

Just let that sink in.

Vitello has done a great job this year with our offensive production and overall attitude at the plate.

You can see the progression through the season. This is not the same team as I watched early in the season.

We have much more confidence both at the plate and in the field than we have shown in a long time.

Hope we can keep him for a few more years but someone is going to make him a D1 HC offer soon.

Seeing him calling the hogs on top of the dugout with Joe, carver and gosser was awesome yesterday

They would be fools not too. He has done excellent work here at Arkansas and if I was a struggling program I'd take a long look at him for HC.

If I'm Tony I wouldn't take just any HC job offered. He will be able to wait for a good one.

Thats true. A positional coach at Arkansas is still better than the vast majority of HC jobs. Arkansas is heavily funded and supported in comparison to everyone else.

Definitely this. He's closed a lot of these kids by being a younger dude for sure. Hope we can keep him awhile longer

none through 10 rounds

the 2015 class doesn't have star power like the 2014 did and 2016 will

this class is about depth and many arms

most of our 11.7 scholarship money is tied up with the guys already on campus from 2014 class

Yes he has. Chair went through the window when I heard we re-signed Jameison instead of letting him go and pursuing Vitello.

I hear ya man. Once I'm done maybe I will be able to as well.

The timing just seemed perfect to try to lure Vitello back home. A new AD. A half way decent season. A promising young core. The energy Vitello could have brought would have been the missing ingredient. Instead we get more of the ho hum for 3 years. I just hope the buy out isn't too much.
