The major letdown I feel coming is getting worse by the minute. I would love to hire Butch Davis today and let him get rolling instead of this dragging out another week.

i'm nervous and way past ready for a hire but i'm trying to hold off on pure meltdown til at least 10 pm cst tomorrow night.

CALM THE F$%K DOWN!!! Jeff has had his man locked down for some time now. None of these offers being leaked are coming from him. It's all been pure speculation by internet posters/bloggers and reporters trying to "break the story". I will guarantee it's a very good hire.

It's Cowher. That's why Long has let all this wild specualtion go on. He knows that no matter how ridiculous it gets, NOBODY will be disappointed in his hire.

Cowher, Dungy and Gruden have all accepted.
They're going to rotate after every 4 games. 1 will coach, 2 will call the game. During the SECCG and the bowl game they'll all be on the sideline.

Yeah it's getting tiresome, which is why I've tried my best to ignore all the grandiose rumors and certain posters on message boards trying to boost their "e-cred" by claiming to know something the rest of us don't.
