Kudos for knocking his recruiting. It has been bad, but not near as bad as Petrino's. Recruiting 20 players last year was horrible. Gambling on so many players that were long shots was horrible.

Honestly frick college ball. Not even worth watching given how much recruiting impacts the game and that some programs are just going to have inherent advantages. frick it.

Were the Falcons going to retain BP beyond that season? Probably yes. Was BP unhappy with the situation that occurred after he took the job? Absolutely. Long still gave him the opportunity knowing how controversial it would be and still made BP leave before the year was over for the good of our program. Did Long convince a P5 conference champion to come to Arkansas and rebuild after BP's god awful recruiting and the JLS debacle? Yes. It's not often that successful P5 coaches leave for other p5 schools. At the time, everyone knew we would hire an OC or a G5 head coach but Long hit what was thought to be a home run. One third of the way through year four its been ok with some obvious faults.

I suppose I've been trolled haha, but a good troll would at least try to refute some of the things I've said. Wanna knock his mismanagement of the basketball program? Bret's recruiting? I'll join you.
