This is looking like a correct prediction
For the record, I said 5-7. Looks like we'll beat State and Mizzou.
On paper, LSU & Florida are losses
8-5 is still in reach, which should get us out of Memphis

I 100% thought we would lose to Auburn even before the season started. I was just saying earlier this week that this game had a 2014 Georgia feel to it for me. Even then, I still never expected us to lose that bad.

To be fair, I amended my prediction to 8-4 after TCU. My original prediction of 7-5 was due to the fact that I wasn't buying into the bull shite in the preseason about our defense being drastically improved (because they were butt last year and we pretty much returned all the same players from a terrible unit) and our offensive line being serviceable (because we replaced our best two linemen from 2015 with a converted DT and a grad transfer who couldn't get on the field for the worst teams in UT history).
We probably will finish 7-5, but knowing Bert, our two wins will be LSU and Florida and our two losses will be forehead slappers against MSU and Mizzou.

Good call on that. I feel today like I did after that game, which was along the lines of helping Bert pack his bags.

Not necessarily. Memphis is not in a group of 6 bowls and 8/5 would still land a team in Memphis some seasons.
However, we will not go to Memphis again for 2-3 years regardless of record. Music City is the likely scenario or Belk Bowl at this juncture. FWOW!
