There's not a single Razorback on a CFL roster.

Not one. not on the practice squad. not on the injured list. not on the suspended list.

not one.

However, there a bunch from Tulsa. There's players from Southern Arkansas, UCA, UA-Monticello, and Arkansas Tech.

It appears we recruit players that have it too good, and don't really give too much of a shite about football.

I noticed over the summer that Brey Cook posted more about doing security work at concerts than working out to try and make a pro team.

How is it even possible that U. of Arkansas wouldn't have a single player in the CFL?

CFL has a $5.05 Million Salary Cap for this season and the average player makes a little more than $80k USD. Why's a guy like Tyler Wilson not in the CFL, it's not that he doesn't have the ability, the desire's not there. He's on a morning radio show as a side gig.

Joe Adams... out of the NFL. Didn't even try to play in the CFL and prove his worth to get back in the NFL. He's probably got a radio show in LR too.

Alan Turner likely could have made a CFL roster, didn't even try.

Kiero Small was released by the Ravens after being on their practice squad in 2014 and playing in a couple games. He may be waiting for an injury to give him a shot, but that dude should be in the CFL at least.

DJ Williams didn't do dick in the NFL, he coasted til he got cut and got a morning TV show in LR.

Arkansas coddles the athletes too much, it's not a coaching problem, a players problem, or even a program problem. There's a culture problem here we've accepted losing for far too long. That's what has to change first.

With the high risk of serious injury that football brings, $80k/yr just isn't worth it unless you just absolutely love the game and would not be happy doing anything else with your life.

football will go the way of the dodo bird at some point or at the very least it will become a shadow of what it currently is.

the more we find out about the brain damage that occurs playing it, the more the sport will be viewed in a bad light. Concussion wasn't forced to be censored by the NFL because of nice things it was saying about the sport.

Well if you want the type of athletes required to win in the SEC then you want to show that Arkansas helps get you a career playing football.

You also want to recruit guys that are committed enough to the game to play in Canada if the NFL has deemed them not talented enough.

I think Arkansas players choosing to come back to Fayetteville than attempting to prolong their careers is a quitter attitude where they'd rather come back and sell cars and get drinks bought for them on Dickson.

NWA is softening our athletes.

Lack of competition and NWA folks living their life through pampered high school kids is why they are soft as fug.

Juice boxes, fruit slices, and trophies for all mentality.

CFL doesn't pay near enough.

Guys can make close to the same money at home sleeping in their own beds and training in nicer facilities every day.
