I picked us finishing 8-4

I'll reserve my melt until we lose to Florida and LSU

Carry on!

A lot of people expected to lose to auburn.

No one expected to lose like that though. That was an embarrassment.

I didn't watch enough to fully ingest all the ugly so I'm not either. But I'm thinking about giving up football and just waiting til basketball season (then when that one is lost cause I'll switch to something else).

In Bert's 4th year and we looked worse than Arkansas State @ AU. Records were broken. Arkansas' record was broken (2007 rushing yards against USCe). AU didn't even have their starting RB. The game was out of hand in the 1st fricking quarter. We were embarrassed on national television. $4 million dollars and this is what we get? I'm confident there are a handful of high school coaches in Arkansas that would give us a better result tonight and for much less.

This.

Even going into this game, I was thinking that although I hate losing to Auburn, I didn't see us winning this game and that I could stomach that because we'd be 5-3 heading into our bye week with 4 very winnable games ahead.

However, I did not expect to lose by 53 points and see our offense never cross the 35.

This loss was completely inexcusable. Most disgusted and hopeless I've felt about a loss since losing to Kentucky by 2 TDs at home in 2007.

I sensed that it might get somewhat ugly after Auburn's second touchdown. But I was not expecting a total shellacking.

It is very disappointing.

It was more embarrassing in person. I sat with some Auburn Alum friends and by the end of the game they were embarrassed for me as were people around us and at the after game tailgate. Worse feeling I have had watching the Hogs since Nutt's USC cluster in Fayetteville.

I had planned to stay the night with them in Montgomery but excused myself and drove back home cussing Bert's fat arse and his incompetent staff the whole way.

shite needs to change now!!! We are too soft to compete at the top of the SEC. Bert has been here long enough and I can't see things changing with the recruits he is able to get to the Hill.

Oh well it's a beautiful fall day in North Bama. I'm going take my wife and her 90 year old father to church and then a nice lunch all the while trying to remember that I did not have shite to do with last nights loss.

While I am not thrilled with the loss I'm not in full on melt mode today. Mostly because I'm battling a cold that is kicking my arse and I can't work up the enthusiasm required for a full scale melt.

I'm willing to go cough on Robb Smith but that is pretty much it for me.
