I think its the apathy hes showing towards the defense crisis that is rubbing people the wrong way.
He acts like we are a middle of the pact defense that had a few bsd games that can be fixed with a few adjustments. We literally have the worst defense in the 21st century lol statistically speaking. ThAt is not something you handle by acting like the notiob of firing anyone ob defense is unreasonable

And we were supposed to lean on the defense this year.
