There was zero energy for 98% of the game. Didnt even sell out with a top 25 sec conference opener with an 11-1 record. The fans are done.

I blame the football game for that mostly. That ended up being a terrible idea.

Basketball attendance goes by paid so I doubt they even care too much, we currently rank 12th in the country in attendance.

no students plus a bunch of people deflated after watching the football meltdown.

to their credit, there were some times they were ready to get into it, but the team just never got it going. very disappointing day of sports.

Eh, the fans have turned out for 20 years and gotten jack shite for doing so.

Over that time period, we have had less success than several SEC teams who've never put 10k in their own arenas in history.

The fans actually outperform the program.

Sorry most of the students are back home and there was also a bowl game on before that? Lol, BWA will
sell out once students are back.

Bud Walton needs a massive renovation like what they did at Tennessee and bring capacity down a couple thousand. Unless the Walton pony up some money it won't happen for awhile though.

This seemed to be correct from just watching on TV. The team made little runs but never seriously threatened in the 2nd half.

Exactly. I went to almost every game during the Heath/Pel eras, and frankly at this point in my life I'm just burned out on Razorback basketball. We haven't been relevant since the Nolan fiasco, and really weren't at the end of his tenure.

Not getting Monk was the final dagger in the basketball program. Nothing will change until we fire Mike and get a fiery up and comer. Lets be honest, Mike is just boring these days

Hard to believe fans aren't excited about a coach in his 6th year that has made one tourney.

Yep, Mike Anderson's teams feed off energy from the crowd and we needed that energy last night to win. If we win the football game, I guarantee you the crowd would have been loud as frick. You could tell at tip off they weren't into it. So I blame Bert for fricking over the bball team as well.

It's a shitty arse mediocre team. Has nothing to do with the fans. Win a fricking game that matters and they will come. We were .500 last year....

fricking done with Hog sports.

On to another shitty baseball season. Derp derp derp.

If you depend on energy from the crowd to run your system, it's time to find a new system.

Member when we didn't make every excuse in the world and make a nostalgic hire?

Our entire fricking program is a string of member berries.

I need to see some inclination that they aren't just gonna let me down. This idea that the crowd has to carry the team is silly. Why isn't the team inspiring the crowd.
