tFlagshipper 101 Orientation Thread

For all the new ensigns that are lurking and getting accounts activated, this course is required reading, and if you're smart a pre-req to starting threads and posting in general.

Your instructors for the course will be FleaMarketBill, Sao, Latarian, CheshireHog, and DaleDenton.

There will be a quiz, and no, it is not open book. Have a notebook, #2 pencil, and orange scantron.

I'll be traveling much of the next couple days so my participation will be limited, but please allow me to touch upon a couple highlights in the syllabus.

1. A hog related username is not required, and is in fact discouraged. I can attest to the difficulty in trolling and rumor planting when you out yourself as a Hog fan by your username. Rantards will still have a hard time figuring it out, but most other fanbases are pretty sharp.

2. SunHog is not to be looked at directly in the eyes or spoken to unless spoken to.

3. We are expected to rally to aid of any flagshipper who has poked a hornet's nest, we never fail to get the last word or .gif in.

4. We have the highest % of wimmenz posters, encourage your lady friends to enjoy the fun. Our ladies are intelligent, beautiful, devoted, and awesome fans that make tasty sammiches.

5. DaleDenton is the finest picker to ever pick up a dobro.

6. Hogville is not to be linked unless to be poked fun of. Acceptable monikers for that place are Tardville, HiV, Lanny's Losers, Douglas' a-hole.

7. Arkansas Media are jokes, please don't source them....... EVER.

8. We enjoy a good drunken jorts story.

9. If you ever recco Hooters as a good place to eat, you're walking the plank.

10. Learn this phrase:

11. Nudez of the Old Lady are to be sent to King for pre-examination.

This where I'll leave off, welcome to the best msg board on the web. TD admins are awesome and pretty reasonable, you generally don't have to put up with the crap on all of the Arkansas boards. Oklahogjr remarked once that SECrant.com is a like a refugee camp for posters that hate their homer fanbase. It's a house of learned men and women, the freedom to have an opinion and call one out on a dumb opinion is what helps make this place what it is. Hope this helps y'all along.
