I'm sure it was mentioned earlier in the thread, but Bert contacted Strong and told him he was handling being ousted by the big money with pure class.
Was it an olive branch to restart his career?
The downside to blowing up the GOBN everyone bitched about under Nutt is they can no longer jump in and force change like Texas did, but we saw the opposite side of the problem where their power can prevent change when change was badly needed. Catch 22.

well crap...
We were away for the holidays, got a new phone and just now got it set up with all the emails running through one managing ap. And WDYK... Strong to Arkansas has some legs. Short, stubbly, but muscular legs.
I still don't believe it will happen from past things I have heard. But that mostly dealt with Broyles, Nutt etc.
