Arkansas has limited four of its five opponents to their lowest scoring outputs of the season. The Razorbacks allow just 22.4 points per game despite playing three of the top 30 offenses in the nation and have allowed 13.2 points per game less than their opponents' season average.
The defense sucks though.

While impressive, that stat is somewhat skewed by the the fact that we are crushing the TOP battle.

Precisely. By playing keep away, we held A&M to 32 plays less than their average in all other games this year. At 8.8 YPP, they theoretically could have put up another 282 yards against us if they had gotten 80 snaps.

That being said I do think the defense played significantly better against Tennesse. Hopefully that is a sign that they're turning the corner.

I don't know...It's been a while since we've been blown out and have been in every game, except maybe UGA for 18 straight games.

I say this style of play works...we just need a few more players. Time and Development

It definitely works but it seems that we very rarely are able to have blow out victories (Ole Miss excluded). The amount of close games with this team is extremely unhealthy for me.

I heard that we are last in pass defense in the SEC statistically but in our behalf we have played three really pass heavy teams. It will be interesting to see how Alabama tries to exploit that fact.

This.
I also expect him to use their TEs in the middle of the field.

I think y'all are giving Kiffin too much credit, it's CONSISTENTLY been a major gripe of Bammer fans that he doesn't seem to alter his gameplan or exploit opponents weaknesses as much as he should. The key to this game will be shutting down Henry and forcing Coker to win the game passing. They're prone to turning the ball over more through their passing game than anything. We need to play aggressive D and not let the receivers have a giant cushion at the line, or they'll dink-and-dunk us to pieces. Believe it or not, I'm not worried about our D in this game. I think they'll get their chances and force them to punt enough, it's what our offense does from there that I'm worried about.

Until our LB's can cover, they will be exploited in the pass game...Coker is just good enough to throw under.

I hope they do try to run, run, run

I take back everything I said in the second post. The defense came to play tonight.

the damn truth. I think as long as CBB is here defense will be a point of emphasis and we will bring our A game on that side of the ball. I am happy with that.
