AKA WMS Sell Out.

The figures show Arkansas needs to move the spring game to WMS to fulfill their one game a year obligation of the remainder of the contract.

It's really not honestly. Kansas St just played their spring game in Kansas City.

Used to play two spring games, one in Little Rock. It was better attended than the one in Fayetteville.

It use to be that way, I never hear this proposal brought up by proponents when preaching history and tradition.

We could play the exhibition games for basketball in Texarkana/Hot Springs/ Pine Bluff/ LR.

I think its a good idea, but it won't happen, the spring game is a huge recruiting weekend and they like to bring the kids up and show off the facilities, cant do that in WMS.

It seem's like there was some sort of rule change or limitation of number of practices that made them cut back to one 'spring game'.

Was Kansas St's spring game in KC the only one they had?

Yes, there's major construction going on around their stadium

I don't know how accurate this is but an Aggie fan in the thread about spring games on the main board said they couldn't move their game off campus because the SEC prohibits it.

Yep - neither Texas A&M nor Kentucky are having spring games this year due to stadium construction and the SEC bylaw mandating that SGs be played on campus.

2015 FBS Spring Game Schedule

ETA - I find it odd that 4 of the 10 Big XII teams didn't have a spring game.

Well then move the campus dammit!! Could they count WMS as being on UAMS's campus perhaps?

the sec really does have some stupid rules....

If other conferences are allowing satellite camps, we should do them in Texas and South Florida.
