Someone has to get fired after a year like this.

The only scary part is Pittman is here because of Chaney.

Sorry for being honest but I think almost half of them need to go.

Shannon's here for a bit.

Chaney is gonna have to take the fall.

I wouldn't complain if Shannon was bumped up to DC. I don't think Ash was ready. We were told he was a great in game adjuster, the defense gets worse as the game goes and the other team changes their attack.

Partridge is 2B's bronie, Smith is too important to recruiting.

Taver could be gone.

If Pelini or Boom are fired I wonder if they'd take a coordinator position.

Pittman is safe and uber important for the future.

Lunney is likely safe.

the RB coach is 50/50 imo.

Ash needs to go take a HC job at some small school. Shannon to DC.

Chaney needs to go somewhere with a HC who has the same philosophy.

Ash is one of the better DC's in college.

Crazy how many sang his praise all offseason, and then when the D is still shite they want him gone.

Wouldn't matter if Saban was DC with the talent the back 7 has.

Play at LB caused the lost today, yesterday, last week etc...

The secondary hasn't helped, but the LB play has been just terrible.

So promote the LB coach to DC, as others have suggested in this thread.

Brilliant.

Wut. Our 3rd and 4th string RBs looked like SEC starters today.

this being the first year at Arkansas for these coaches in a season we knew and the coaches knew was going to suck makes losing any of these coaches questionable. would not be surprised for them to stick around at least another year.

but after an 8 or 9 loss season all rationale thinking goes out the window and people are wanting coaches to be fired. even though those same people knew this season was going to suck. it's one think to think we're going to suck, but when we are actually sucking fans want heads to roll. it's a shitty situation.

ideally to build a program properly we need stability and not have constant turnover in our assistants. gotta trust 2B's knows what he's doing when it comes to picking his assistants. and if it turns out he doesn't, replace 2B's

Agree, I don't think any coach should go.

Especially new ones that haven't been with Bielema before.

You get 2 years, head coaches get 3-4.

I agree that coaching stability is the most important thing to building a program back up, however, when the OC philosophy and the HC's don't mesh AND there's only obvious signs of improvement in a few positions there's some changes needed.

An honest evaluation will concede talent being a problem, but coaches have to coach and strategize with what they have.

When you've got Alan Turner and Eric Bennett beating out an All-SEC freshman team safety, and CB's that regress, and you're starting a walk-on WR turned Safety turned MLB, over another All-SEC Freshman LB'r. WTF is going on?

Keep in mind Bielema fired his OL coach after only a couple games last year. I don't see anyway he brings everyone back.

We've seen flashes of the future this season.

On defense you constantly see player in the right position via play calling, but they do not execute.

On offense, the play call is frustrating at times.

It is easy to blame the coaches, but it appears the schemes are fine, the players executing the plays need improvement. You can't make sunbelt players into SEC players, we've seen this in basketball we are seeing it in football.
