Member Kansas state fans for the bowl game?

Aubies have been chirping for about a week so far. They're acting like that middle child that everybody ignores that starts acting out to get attention.

I'm not going to talk too much bull with them, simply because I really would hate to lost this game. I fear this game more then the rest for one simple reason.

Thus far Gus is 2/1 against CBB. Although it was CBB's first two season while trying to handle a terrible situation. But Gus has had 2 weeks, and a whole season to plan. Cant stand Gus. Some of our stupid, ignorant fans still wish gus was our coach.

We really need to win this game for various reasons. Not the least of the joy it will be on the rant

Guys like Nutt and Malzahn really threw back the curtain on just how bad and small time our fan base can be, and how a sizeable portion of it just isn't ready for prime time.

Back in '08, there were Hog fans rooting against Petrino from the outset and hoping we'd lose our first two. I'll never forget sitting in DWRRS when Ole Miss came to town that year and seeing some of our own season ticket holders literally and opening rooting for Ole Miss. It was disgusting.

Fast forward nearly a decade and we have a similar situation with Gus. I remember walking into the A&M game last year and the people we were with were openly talking about they wanted to can Bert and "bring Gus home."

Hell, just look at the people who disparage everything Bert does and every accomplishment he has because they measure it against what Petrino did.

I want to avoid sweeping generalizations that disparage our fans, but we've got some losers with loser mentalities amongst us.

One thing we've got to do a better job of this year is playing keep away with them and putting a cork on their two minute offense. A win is a win and I was elated we beat them last year, but that game had no business going to OT. We dominated them but let them back into it because we gave up a few long plays in their two minute drill. Hopefully we tighten that up this year.

Dj dean isn't a starter anymore thankfully.

I was at that auburn game and he played awful.

I don't know what it is, but they are sure bitin. This week will be prime fishing for sure

Like I posted on SECr in one of their pathetic attempts at a troll thread, their team is averaging 15 points and .6 TDs against P5 competition not named Mississippi State.

They couldn't even muster ONE TD against a Les Miles with one foot out the door LSU. They managed one TD against Clemson and one against A&M, and their FG kicker has the highest point total in those P5 games.

Their defense will shut us down a couple times and get a few sacks, but their offense won't be able to keep up with ours even though our D is lacking. We'll also get a couple INTs and possibly a pick six out of one of them.

I think their "confidence" is more fear than anything, which will make for some good bumps after the game.
