I hope we lose every game so there is no chance we keep Bert.

I cant wish a loss on our Hogs, for any reason.
I understand that mentality, but I love our boys and want nothing but success.
Just
Can't
Do
It!

I really don't want to lose, but I'm scared that if he gets any wins that we will keep him. I am willing to bet he is safe at 6-6.
I just feel like this fat frick is doing more long term damage by staying than he will just losing 7 games and getting fired. He is creating an air of mediocrity. Then sits and crows about being tied for 4th in wins his last 20 games while in reality he is dead last in wins for his career.

Referring to Bert's tenure at Arkansas as "mediocre" is...a very generous term

Not surprising.
TCU did everything they could to keep us in that game and hand it to us on a platter. Our offense just sucks. They're not that good of a team. There's no silver lining in that loss whatsoever.
This is Bert's tenure in a nutshell. We lose all the time to the A&Ms of the world and convince ourselves they're good, only to see them go stink it up the rest of the way.

It is year 5. Bert is who he is.
The heartbreaking thing is... look at the SEC West this year. Yes, Bama looks like Bama, but other then that...
Forget Bobby Petrino, this is the sort of schedule that Houston Nutt would be licking his chops to get at. Lou Holtz or Ken Hatfield would be in the hospital due to the sudden loss of blood pressure thanks to their raging boners.
Let us not kid ourselves. If we lose to A&M next week the season is over. There will still be games to be played, some of which we might win, but its one and done at this point.

Yeah. We have a bunch of over reaction going on.
TCU will do well this season, and if they don't I will eat crow gladly.
One half of a game doesn't make a season. Games are peculiar overall at times. Seeing different schemes, coaching ability, and talent week end and out.
But, TCU sure made the adjustments when needed... CBB????

Bielama is honestly a below average coach. I never thought I would long for the days of Houston mutt. Also please give us chad morris

Well...its now 49-29...so that might imply that our defense IS a little better. That's if you buy that the last TD wasn't fully on the D...and maybe the 3rd one wasn't so much on the D (I say it was).
But...it says our offense is a lot worse...a LOT worse...that SMU's.
I still contend its the Bert/Enos philosophical mismatch that's our biggest problem.

And the 17 that SMU has scored since then is ten more than we could muster in a whole game against TCU.

Better than giving up 56.

I make no bones about my dislike of Bert, but Enos deserves way more blame than he's getting for our offensive bed shitting.
In 5 of our last 7 games against FBS competition, we've scored a grand total of THREE second half points, with two of those games being monumental collapses.
I still believe Enos is a good OC, but he can absolutely call a jackshit game sometimes. The offensive game plan and playcalling for the TCU game was horrendous.

All this does is confirm what we already knew. Our defense is good until they're forced to be on the field for 78% of the game, our offense is not.
