Even if we win our next 2 games and a bowl game and get 1 more win I'll still feel like this season was a bust. 9-3 was where I felt he had to get to.

This year's class seems to be his worst. I'm not sure what we will look like next year, probably a big rebuilding year. If this is what his first class produced and we aren't getting better I'm quite worried where we are headed.

I still want Robb Smith and rory to go. I figure Enos will leave this off season. I'm not sure who we can replace him with.

I love how some people are still claiming that it's not time to talk about whether we should move on from Bert while completely ignoring the fact that:
- we've regressed across the board in year 4
- year 5 looks to be a rebuilding year
- our recruiting isn't getting better
- we've recruited terribly at several key positions which has led to huge depth concerns
- we've shite the bed with several mind-numbing assistant coaching hires (e.g. Anderson, Segrest, Smith).
- he's a combined 1-14 (!) against Auburn, Alabama, Texas A&M and Mississippi State.

I mean, we can talk about it, but we're literally years away from it being a possibility due to the contract.

Just our WR core, Best offensive linemen, most of the defensive line, starting middle linebacker and several members of our secondary. we'll be fine........

This.

Prediction thread average was 8.5 wins.

Defense has been a disaster but most of us seemed okay with 8ish wins pre-season

Not to mention austin is regressing. I thought earlier in the year that next year we would look like miss st with the best qb in the league.

Now I'm just curious if he isn't broken like brandon was; with less time to grow and build the team around him.

Like I said in another thread, I'm okay with 8-4.

I'm not okay with those 4 losses all being embarrassing blowouts. Not to mention one of those losses was arguably the worst in our program's history, another was to an interim coach who was a horror show as an SEC head coach the last time around.

Hell, at this point we'll be lucky to win 8. We're at 6 now, and Mississippi State runs the exact type of offense has owned Bert for 4 solid years.

The sad thing is most predicted this to be an 8 win season and knew how much we were losing this year which is pathetic. 8-4 souks be rebuilding year records not peak years tells you all you need to know about beilama yet we had people happy with 8-4 before the season. People who have settled for mediocrity

I mean at least we have 19 players committed in early November. We're used to having that amount committed going into signing day.

The first half of this season he looked like 2015 Brandon.

The second half he's looked like 2013 Brandon.

At this point, he's almost doing more harm than good being out there, but of course we can't pull him because Ty Storey has looked like a frightened turtle in his limited action.

Do you think we will be better next year? Or was this our big year. Is 8-4 our ceiling or was this the rebuilding year for the next step in the future?

No. Last year was our "big year." We lost to Toledo and Texas Tech and should have lost another few. Thanks fatass.

Anybody else notice that the farther away we get from the offensive guru in petrino and more into the defensive minded physical beilama the worse our defense gets and the softer both lines are? But petrino can't recruit and Bert can!

This.

Last year was our chance to win 10+ and we completely pissed it away by crapping our pants against Toledo, losing embarrassingly to Tech, derping away a late lead against A&M for the millionth time, and losing our balls at the end of the MSU game and taking the ball out of our best player's hands when he was setting records.

Hell Petrino's worst defenses could least stop the run. They couldn't stop Pulaski Academy through the air, but they were decent in run support.

This offensive line is some Klenakis level shite.

Anyone who says yes was already delusional before the season started.

I ashamed to call some of you hog fans

If we win out we will ha e improved our record every year

Our lines suck. Do you ho honestly think there is a world where Bert doesn't handle it. Part of the reasons we attract good coaches is Bert doesn't throw coaches he's under the bus. It will get addresses in due time

We return the best QB, best group of the outside bama, and experiencedd o line and possibly the best secondaries Arkansas history next year we get Ra!sey greenlaw and harris all year and we signed the best juco the in the country

Take a chill pill seriously
