So I hear Siloam Springs is getting a Phat Tire Bike Shop downtown, as well as a brewery. They already have some hip restaurants and a beer garden and a few other bars.

They have the kayak park and their city lake is getting a bike trail makeover as high-quality as any city around the region.

Is every city in NWA going to be awesome?

I was down there recently and was a bit underwhelmed. I am a bit spoiled by the food on the Bentonville square. The Siloam downtown area has came a long way in the past 5-10 years, but it really has potential to be amazing if they can keep it going in the right direction.

If I had to make a bet I'd say that Siloam is the next NW Arkansas area to start bulking up in population. Which will bring in the restaurants and activities.

Siloam is doing well at this point in its growth.

It is just over 16,000 people, which is what Bentonville was 20 years ago. Siloam Springs today has more amenities and downtown momentum than Bentonville had in 1997.

This is true. I am just saying that right now it's not really a place you are going to go unless you live there. It needs something unique that will draw outsiders.

Kayak park and new MTB flow trails are both going to help draw some folks.

Well, it has the casino, right across the border. I'm surprised there isn't more development happening near the casino side of town. Everything new is on the east side.
