Inman joined KATV in 1999 as weekend sports anchor. In 2003 he joined the news desk, co-anchoring the 5pm, 6pm and 10pm newscasts.

KATV said in a statement on its website that Inman has decided to leave to "pursue other interests and to spend more time with his family."

Channel 7 does a good job of getting better than average talent for a regional station.

Being so well known he should be successful with that new job.

I remember Christina Munoz did something similar when she left for an administrative position at UCA. The money in local/regional TV is not very good, so I don't blame them.

Still going to miss him on air.
