Let's just say fatass gets fired after this year (which of course we all know won't happen)... But who would be someone we could ACTUALLY get and who would be the best fit to get back to Petrino level success.
For the love of God, please no "Hey Grude"...

Who's coaching Arkansas State now? Maybe we could get him...

Gruden. I think it's time we pull the cord and accept his offer for help

There are plenty of HCs who can come in and build that house of cards. Nutt did it before.

First of all, I'm not done with Bielema yet.
Did you see the pissed look on his face as the players walked off the field into the tunnel? If you didn't see the tape, look it up. He's as pissed as any of us.
This year hasn't looked as good in some ways, but we're still ahead of last year, and the record has improved every year. Could still happen again this year. Will everybody still be howling if we go 4-0 the rest of the season, or even 3-1 with a competitive loss to LSU? (Note: Go 0-4 or 1-3 and I'll revisit this current opinion.)
Too early to jump ship yet, let's see what changes are made in the next two weeks and how the rest of the year plays out.

I want Bert to work out right now.
So, lets see what happens first.

He definitely needs it at this rate he'll die of heart failure before his buyout is affordable.

He's PAID to be a "fan" of Arkansas. As far as I know, all of us do it because we want to. So I don't really think any non-alum would ever care more than someone truly fanatic about their school.

I guarantee you that there are folks that never set foot on that campus that are just as pissed off as anybody that ever did.

might as well hit the pause button on this thread for at least 4 years.

Chad Morris or Mike MacIntyre

I say frick it and bring in The Pirate, Mike Leech....at least with him when we give up 56, maybe we'll score 57...or if we were actually smart, we'd go get PJ Fleck right now before he gets swooped up by a powerhouse... He's the next Urban Meyer...

MacIntyre was actually in my top 5 wants when we hired Bielema. If LSU doesn't keep Orgeron, I could see them going with him for their spot.

Just out of curiosity, what made you like MacIntyre so much that he was in your top five for replacing Bobby Petrino? He was in the midst of one pretty good season at San Diego State. I think he's looking better than Chad Morris, but what did you see in him back in 2012?

I'm sick and tired of Bert.
I say we bring in Bret and let him try.

This. People are drooling over Tom Herman, but I think Fleck is an absolute home run hire as far as up-and-comers go.
It'll never happen here unless Bert just up and says "I've had enough of this shite," but he's the guy I'd want if that were to happen.

That's great that he's mad. Almost as good as actually being competitive in the game.
I was ready to have Bert fired, but I didn't realize he was mad. I take it all back

Because they have respect for the work they do? Do you think just because he isn't an "Arkansas fan", he likes getting embarrassed like that.
