The question is why does DVH deserve praise for exceeding expectations in a season shortly after failing to live up to expectations when expectations were high?

Sounds like another former HC we had who used a brief playing and coaching stint at Arkansas to make friends with some powerful people and be rewarded a lifetime contract.

I never said I wanted him fired.

I want him to give a return on the investment made to him and the program.

You shouln't throw a fricking hissy fit to your friend's with money because the football program is getting a new facility before your precious IPF when you yourself have gone a decade without a championship of any sort and the football program funds the majority of your program.

But let's all go flame LSU for losing game one in the CWS while we are suppose to be just happy to be there, we shall ignore the amount of investment each makes in their programs that are on a comparable level with each other while doing so.
