Feelers have been made to some agents through back channels like usual. It isn't a done deal yet, regardless of what others may say. There is a bit of a pull back by some because of the push by others to hire Gus.
I would be interested in hearing what Razorbronks is hearing. He said something last night about Leach I believe.
I have been told that with the baggage of the texas tech stuff, Leach wouldn't be considered... yet. Unless he was willing to agree to some specified contract items. And that Leach wouldn't do that. He is a very proud, stubborn, but good to great coach.

This is the main one I keep being told about. He was met with while here. By main, I mean that is the only name I keep hearing.
I also kept hearing Gundy from these same couple of people with a lot more money than our family and then Long pulled Bret.

100% agree. We fricked up and didn't get him when we could. Should still try though. Worst he can say is no.
If he is out. I'm all over the leach train. Like I said last night. The tech pr b.s. rev has heard is dumb. No kid he recruits remembers or fricking cares. They were in elementary or early middle school then and were more worried about figuring out how to jack off.
Craig James is a loser. Is not on tv anymore. They don't know who his kid is, or who he is.
Also I don't give a frick about that b.s. he is winning at wazzu... WAZZU!!

as far as I am concerned, I agree.. But remember JL staked his rep on being uncommon and integrity. What I am hearing is that if Leach is given the opportunity, the only way JL and a few others would accept him is if he signed some clauses that protect the university from anything like what happened at Tech. And, Leach is a bit of a jerk at times, and would most likely refuse those clauses...
as Chesh said, GM is being pushed big by some.

I don't want this to happen but it will be real interesting to see how many of those t-shirt Auburn fans in the SOC last night are wearing Razorback gear if Gus is our coach.
I'll never understand being a fan of a coach, someone making millions to teach a game, over your alma mater or favorite program.
