PSA: Yearly basketball reminder

It's basketball season again so I thought I'd remind everyone how home teams get away with murder against the road team. It's always been like this to an extent but recently it's gotten worse. The reason? Attendance.
See if everyone wins 90% of their home games then everyone thinks their team is good and they show up.
Anyway don't be surprised when we're well into the season and literally every team has a losing road record. And don't be surprised when the defense that gets us 20 steals at Bud Walton gets us 60 fouls on the road.

I watched a neutral sight kansas vs Indiana game and it was a free throw shooting contest. Hopefully the emphasis on more NBA like rules takes hold soon. CBB needs it.

Or go back to the way it was in the 90's. Anything is better then the stop and start play we have now.

Yep. I'm biased because it hurts a MA team more than others, but it's also just horrible to watch

They've made the most exciting and fast paced college sport the most boring to watch. Its actually kind of amazing they've managed to drain so much joy from it.

I have lost all interest in CBB. I don't even watch the NCAA tourney now. Arkansas sucking these past 20 years and the whistle happy officials have drained away any love I had for CBB.
