Do ya'll get snow here every winter just about?

I remember last year I couldn't contain my excitement

Was the first time I've seen snow since I went skiing as a kid

This far north (NWA), it's usually a yearly thing. We didn't get any that stuck last winter, which was odd. The year before that, it snowed in April. The year before that, it snowed in April and on May 3rd. Those were the only two times in my life I saw snow in Arkansas past the first ten days or so of March - and even that was super rare. In 2010, we had literally two feet. The year before that, there was a major ice storm that destroyed power for weeks in some of the more rural areas. We're in a sweet spot of yearly snow, yet not frequently or cumulatively enough for it to be worth businesses and the general population to do make it a part of life. So school and work usually get canceled a couple days every season.

In the river valley and further east/south, it's more of a crapshoot.

Maybe we have 2010 all over again.

At the house there, one storm brought in 13" and another storm brought in two feet. Was glorious.

Computer models backed off on the snow on Sunday night - Monday morning. Switched to mostly rain.

However next Wednesday evening - Friday has some snowfall potential.
