Anybody making the road trip this year for the Rutgers game? Trying to talk the wife into it since it appears the biggest part of the cost would be getting there.

We'll be there! Lots of my college friends are in NYC, so it's a combo friends/football trip.

Maybe, I would have to find spray tan and a few affliction shirts to justify the trip.

I'm in Virginia so the trip would be around 6 hours-ish. Any one know what the word on Piscataway is? would certainly be an interesting change of pace, as well as a fun environment to see a bunch of hog fans at

I'll be going. The alumni association is doing chartered buses from the alumni bar (forget the name) to the game. They're going to have dedicated tailgating spots for us, too. i might do that.i

Hurley's is the new alumni bar on 48th an 8th.

I'm going with my friends from NJ and Rutgers alumni to talk literally as much shite as humanly possible.

I don't think it could be any more awesome here. Well, if Fayetteville were closer, that would be one thing.

What do you need to figure out? Several posters here live in the city, I'm sure we can give you advice.

Dude Manhattan is the shite. I spent a summer there after freshman year and I don't think I had one boring day. The only thing not to like are their retarded gun laws and ban of big gulps. Everything else is tits galore.

The big gulp ban actually got blocked by the courts here. The gun laws are what they are, but the city is actually very safe now. And don't forget the other boroughs, they are all pretty awesome and have their own things going on. I live in Queens and love it.

Back to Piscataway/Rutgers, has anyone ever been to that part of NJ? At first glance, Piscataway itself looks boring, but New Brunswick is right there and looks like it has some kind of downtown core. I'm wondering if there's any concentrated fun walkable area like Fayetteville has.
