As has been said a few times this season, Allen's gun slinging mentality really helps us sometimes but really bites us in the arse other times.
That plus Drew Morgans uncharacteristic fumbles cost us the game.
Can't do that with an offense like VT has and a questionable defense like we have then expect to win.

No shite sherlock. But if it wasn't for Allen we wouldn't have even gotten the chance to blow this lead in this shitty bowl.

so in conclusion, the loss can be blamed on risks taken by a QB and uncharacteristic mistakes by a senior WR.

no doubt. sports in general don't matter at that
but for those looking for optimism heading into next season, with a team we can't control, figuring out why we lost and figuring out how we can fix those mistakes help improve optimism

We can improve those mistakes and increase optimism by firing a certain fat buffoon. Unfortunately, that will not occur and apathy will be the result.

You getting philosophical on us now sport? Hell I'll do you one better. Nothing really matters we are all gonna die some fricking day. But while I'm on this earth, I find enjoyment out of watching the Arkansas razorbacks play sports and win. So like the man said, it doesn't matter why we lost. What matters is that we fricking lost.

I''m not sure that optimism is warranted. That doesn't mean that we should be pessimistic either.
We know who BB is now. He might get us a bit better or a bit worse from time to time, but he will ultimately regress to his mean.
I honestly don't think that he is capable of meeting reasonable expectations. So even if we win next yr, we will lose in the end
